Who I am.

Hi! I'm Kaci Goldinher, MA, LPC and relaunching my private practice after working in various areas of the behavioral health industry.
I began a part-time private practice over 10 years ago in 2015, and I’m now full-time in the virtual space to for those in the State of Missouri.

Education:

Master of Arts, Counseling & Family Therapy | Saint Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri

Bachelor of Arts, Psychology & minor Sociology | Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Florida

Training:
Licensure for Professional Counseling (LPC) | Missouri 2010, MO License #2009029323

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I have been helping families, couples and individuals process their life struggles.
I am Certified in Trauma-Focused and Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Eye Movement and Reprocessing Desensitization (EMDR), and Medication Management.

Work Experience:

I began my career working with adults at a Department of Mental Health Assisted Living Facility, and with adolescents at a Residential/Day School, as well as Community-Based Foster Care Therapy.
I spent 7 years working on a Department of Defense contract for transitioning Service Members and Veterans, and as a Consultant for various Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).

Most recently, I worked in Member Care Management for Behavioral Health on a Medicaid plan, and previously as a Utilization Review Care Manager for Higher Levels of Care, including Substance Abuse and Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalizations for Commercial and Exchange Health Insurance Plans.
